Damn this job, it sucks. I went out thursday and fridays nights until 3am and had visitors until midnight last night. Now I am paying for it. 3am is not that bad you're thinking? Well it is when you have to start work at 5:30am(ish). That leaves precious little time for sleepy sleepy. Today wasn't even as hot and humid as it has been this past week, a nice 22C today. Thats around 72F for you americans. This morning I hauled my expanding arse out of bed and fumbled through morning milking then came home and slept on and off for the next 3 hours. I woke up feeling even worse dammit!
My new desire for christmas is a day off. I havent had one since MAY. Thats 6 whole months. But I hate having to fork out to have someone come in and work for me for the day. The pitfalls of self-employment.
But on a happier note, friends son involved in train vs cow vs kid accident is apparently out of the coma. Yay! According to eye witnesses, he was trying to coax a too friendly cow off the train track as a train is bearing down on them with horn blasting, lights flashing and the cow froze and wouldn't move. So the kid wisely got out of the way. Unfortunately the train hit the cow (killed it) and the cow was flung off the track and hit the kid on the way past. How unlucky is that.
