And thats my effort for the day with regards to Blog Week.
Today it is hot, hot, HOT. Far too warm to be out working so I'm here blogging instead. Yesterday it took me 2 1/2 hours to mow our frikken huge-arse lawn so I consider today a rest day. This morning we had a bit of a cock up during morning milking, I accidentally milked a cow that had been treated with penicillin which is a big no-no. Had to get the guy out to test the milk to see if it was safe to send to the factory, luckily it was. It is a very exspensive exercise if you don't get it tested and it shows up positive at the factory. So that caused some early morning friction that I could have done without.
I have 2 cats that I do love very much but when one of them wakes me at 3am just to say she loves me and she wants a cuddle, it is pushing the limits a little far. Now if it were a hot 6 foot something big burly guy doing the same thing the response would be somewhat more energetic!
Am going to be brave tonight and go into the city to tackle the dreaded Christmas shopping. I have no idea what to get the spouse for Christmas. I thinking a DVD that he wants, its probably my safest bet. Heres hoping he dosent get me lingere that is too small again this year.
In other news, sadly the boy involved in the train / cow accident passed away on Wednesday. He was only 13.
