And the gong goes to

New Zealand! Yay! Congrats to Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh and everyone associated with Lord of the Rings, it was a well deserved win.
I have to admit, I am proud to be a Kiwi. Alot of overseas people have grumbled about how boring and unsurprising the Oscars were, but for us down here in little 'ol NZ is was quite exciting. We had the radio on during afternoon milking which is when the awards were being handed out, and it was entertaining listening to the DJ getting all excited, 2 from 2!!! 6 from 6!!!!!!!
10 from 10!!!!!!! When we watched the ceremony on TV later that night it was quite amazing to hear thanks New Zealand about a ka-gillion times. Other than that it was a boring ceremony, no-one looked outstandingly georgeous, Renee Zelwegger made me puke, Charlize Theron made me yawn, Peter Jackson could have at least done his hair! and Tim Robbins grow up. America isn't the only country in the world where movies are made.
Bad luck Keisha, at least you did yourself proud and Julia Roberts voted for you.
