Local observations

I thought I'd share a couple of funny sights I spied locally this week.

Today I drove past the goat farm down the road and they had the goats all penned up in the yard for drenching. The yards are about 6 fee high and built with wooden rails. Goats are magicians when it comes to climbing things and rails are not much of a challenge for them. The funny part was one guy running around the outside of the yards with a big stick whacking the goats on the head as they tried to climb over.

The other thing was at some roadworks. They had just put fresh shingle down and had sprayed it with water to keep the dust down. One guy was walking up the line of traffic cones wiping the mud of them that got splattered up. The only trouble was as soon as he finished wiping one the very next car that came along splattered it again. He didn't seem to notice, just carried on up the line.
