Well I did have some photos lined up to post but for some unknown reason can't get into my photo album to upload them. Stan?
Anyway so now I guess I have to think of an actual entry. Bugger.
I got all keen (or stupid) and joined a gym yesterday. Something I have never done before but I figure if I am going to make it to the top of Kilimanjaro I have to start moving my arse into gear. In the condition I am now I'd be lucky to make it 1 hour up the mountain without dying, let alone 3 days.
I also splashed out further and got contacts today. A mate is going to teach me to dive once he has finished calving so I though I'd better do something about actually being able to see without my glasses, becasue I am SO blind otherwise. All in all its been a bloody esxspensive couple of days
Yesterday was a day off but I still managed to find myself at work for a little bit. I took Darsha (my cat) in for some pet therapy. Many people bring in dogs of all shapes and sizes but never cats. I was chatting with one lady earlier in the week and she was missing the cat she'd had so I promised her I'd bring mine in. Well things went ok until the pet bird took exception to the sight of a cat and decided to fly around the dining room in a flurry of poo and feathers. Until then Darsha had been quite happy letting everyone pat her and tell her she was beautiful. Once the bird was spied that was all she wanted so I thought it was best to remove her at that point.
My chess partner is showing promise, He does have trouble remembering if he is black or white but is getting there. The RN asked him today if I was a good player and he said no!!!!!! Well he was probably right, he did have more pieces on the board than I did.
So what CD does everyone have playing in their car right now? I have Hoobastank, Van Halen Greatest Hits and Tim and Neil Finn, Together Again (currently #1)
