Nearly looking like a native

For the first time since I started back in this job I had 2 days off in the same wek. Even better, 2 consecutive days off. What a novelty. I toodled off to London for the afternoon. Oxford st was the desingation of choice. I almost looked like a native carrying shopping bags down the street. If I travel with a friend on the tube I love to annoy the natives by talking loudly about nothing in particular. They sit and frown and maybe mutter to themselves but in true British fashion wont say anything. If you bump into them 9 times out of 10 they will say sorry. Weird.
I am currently torturing mum via text. I texted her to ask if she had heard the big Coronation Street news. No I'm not watching it, but you cant help not hear about it as its all over the news.
After Oxford st I headed off to the Science Museum. What a cool place! They have all sort of space stuff, things you can poke and prod, twist and squeeze, grab and pull in the energy exhibit. There were far too many kids for my liking so i did a quick visit and paid most attention to the Iceland exhibit. WANT. WANT. WANT to go to Iceland now.
